Overview

During my Integrated Product Design master's at TU Delft, I embarked on a project to empower visually impaired individuals in shaping their social image while addressing the emotional challenges tied to vision loss. I initiated this journey with user research and prototype development, exploring both traditional and innovative cane designs, delving into functional as well as emotional aspects of cane use. Collaborating with the Royal Dutch Visio Centre, the project aimed to create a design intervention that enhances navigation while providing meaningful solutions for emotional well-being.
